Elevation Academy offers a 120-hour Nursing Assistant training program that meets all state Nursing Assistant exam/certification requirements. Training consists of 80 hours of classroom study/skills Lab and 40 hours of clinicals. The clinical hours are conducted, off-site, with partnering medical facilities where students receive "hands-on" nursing assistant training with actual patients. Elevation Academy is a comprehensive program, with experienced and certified instructors, dedicated to teaching students the fundamental aspects of patient care in a highly dynamic medical environment.

Enrollment Requirements:

● Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance (Level 1)
● No record of recent felony conviction, charges, or cited unprofessional conduct

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has an essential role on the nursing health care team. A Certified Nursing assistants aid patients with many tasks related to daily living and basic care. Certified Nursing Assistants work under the supervision of licensed nurses, such as Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). In most cases, CNAs, often, serve as the patient's primary caregiver. Additional duties performed include monitoring vital signs, bathing, eating or assisting with daily living. Nursing Assistant skills are in high demand in convalescent homes, home health, and assisted living facilities.

Additionally, The prediction of CAN job growth and sustainability is expected to increase by 5 percent from 2021 to 2031, (A higher growth rate than most other professions). According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, an average of over 220,000 job openings for nursing assistants are projected for each year, over the next decade.
