The nursing assistant program consists of 120 hours, 80 hours of classroom/ skills lab, and 40 hours of clinicals. Students will be able to engage in the following practices: infection control practices, feeding residents, ADL care, vital signs, observing resident rights, and assisting with feeding patients. After successful completion of this course, students will meet all of the expectations necessary to sit for the state exam and become certified nursing assistants. Once participants are Certified Nursing Assistants, individuals can expect to work in the following settings: long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, hospices, and home health.
The American Heart Association (AHA), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)is a lifesaving technique performed, to aid blood flow to the heart, brain, and other vital organs once the heart stops beating. Initiating proper effective CPR, immediately, can increase an individual’s chances of survival after cardiac arrest. CPR classes are for anyone who needs to learn the basic skills needed to aid adults, children and/or infants during cardiac emergencies. First Aid and AED training included with CPR classes. Our instructors are AHA certified and utilize the most current training material from AHA.
The American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) course is an essential component to saving lives. All students will be trained in identifying and recognizing life-threatening emergencies, (cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and obstructed airway), to effectively provide high-quality (CPR). BLS is a more comprehensive course, designed primarily for healthcare workers, First responders, EMS professional’s, Police officers, Firefighters, and public safety personnel. BLS certification meets competency requirements for healthcare professionals in pre-hospital, hospital, and post-acute settings.

Upon successful completion of the class, participants will receive a CPR/ First Aid/AED or BLS certification card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to confirm, you are selecting the correct course.

This class is geared to assist students with discovering, applying, and obtaining the most lucrative nursing job opportunities. College requirements for the enrollment process. Skills on how to open a bank account with plans and strategies to save and build up credit.
The purpose of this safety self-administration medication training is to provide healthcare personnel in behavioral health with general knowledge, safety strategies, and tools to assist clients with the self-administration of daily medications prescribed by their providers. (In accordance with R9-10-718.c.4.a-b-Medication Services.)
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training
CPI training equips healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, security personnel, and behavioral health workers with the skills to identify, prevent, and de-escalate workplace crises. The training is structured into distinct levels, offering solutions for every role and risk level
within an organization.
Our CPI instructors provide evidence-based training, incorporating person-centered and trauma-informed approaches. This training helps you create a positive impact across your organization through safety interventions and a common de-escalation communication framework. Participants will learn proactive verbal de-escalation strategies and advanced disengagement
skills tailored for higher-risk roles. The CPI framework includes several courses:
Verbal Intervention Training
Ideal for establishments with a non-hands-on policy, this course instills self-assurance and equips individuals with skills to verbally de-escalate disorderly conduct.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
This course teaches individuals the skills needed to identify and respond to ordinary crises safely situations, including safe disengagements and preventive interventions.
NCI With Advanced Physical Skills
Designed for those in complex working environments, this comprehensive course includes advanced physical skills alongside verbal intervention and NCI components. It is tailored for individuals dealing with clients who may exhibit disruptive and dangerous behaviors, teaching safe and advanced disengagement techniques.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a CPI workbook and a blue certification card, valid for two years. An optional refresher course for advanced physical skills is available 6-12 months after the initial training.
